We teach our students in various ways, and it is vital that we also learn in multiple ways. Professional learning (PL) needs to be changed; we must engage educators in active learning. Through this course, I have planned for effective alternate PL to help employ my innovation plan for advanced mathematics. Duarte's five fundamental principles of effective PL have been a driving force for focusing my PL plan on what will help educators the most.
